Theater
We have presented 13 plays (some more than once) under the direction of Betty Packer. Betty, along with her daughter, Malia, have re-written many scripts to add Biblical themes and messages imbedded into these performances:
Titanic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Peter Pan, Treasure Island, King of Kings,(adaptation of The Lion King),
There’s No Place Like Home (Wizard of Oz adaptation), Narnia, After All (Cinderella adaptation),
A Diamond in the Rough (An adaptation of Aladdin), A Tale as Old as Time.

Theater is an important part of our curriculum at ACS. Students get to experience the joy and expression of music and dramatics through play productions.
Build it.
Our teachers help students to understand the skills needed to present a variety of theater productions through roles, speaking and expression of the theatrical theme.
Grow it.
Preparing for a theatrical play requires many skills with memorization, costumes and stage scenery that are a part of our arts programs. ACS has provided many plays for the public.
