Athletics
ACS has a long history of involvement in team sports. The school has fielded teams in basketball, volleyball and track. Enrollment and student interest determine which teams the school fields in the respective sport seasons.
ACS was instrumental in founding the NCAL league. NCAL schools include both private and public area schools.
Our school has one of the finest gymnasiums in Humboldt County and our tournaments are highly acclaimed by participating schools.
Parents are welcome to assist in the athletic program in a variety of ways including: helping to coach, scoring table help, refereeing, snack shack, tournament set up and clean-up, etc.
ACS is committed to building strong character in our students and our sport teams exemplify the highest standards of good sportsmanship.
ACS has been blessed to have a dynamic cheer team spearheaded by an alumni parent, Dr. Erica Hindbaugh.
